So overall, very happy with the Biocube 32 aquarium. Breaking it down, this particular kit includes the Biocube 32 aquarium, the Biocube 32 stand, the Coralife protein skimmer v2 and algae cleaning magnet, a salinity refractometer, a felt cloth and charcoal from Marine,The aquarium and stand complement each other nicely and look very good put together (also, putting the stand together took me about 45 minutes). The combination will look great wherever you intend to set it up. On top of that, the aquarium design is very well done with the return pump chamber, filter chamber and intake chamber all hidden behind a black plastic panel in the rear of the aquarium. The LED lighting/timer is great for creating a sunrise/sunset, daytime and moonlight effect in the tank.A few comments on the equipment:The stock filter rack that comes with the aquarium is ok. It gets the job done but it is a little flimsy and difficult to pull in and out if you have bags of filter media in the rack. Good enough for starting out but you may want to consider an upgrade in the future.Similarly, the Coralife protein skimmer v2 works as well. However, it can get very cramped in the intake chamber if you add a heater in there too. Also, the skimmer is somewhat noisy. If you intend to put the tank in your main living area or bedroom, you may want to think about your noise tolerance.The stock return pump work very well at pushing through water. Lots of vibration noise though so I ended up replacing the plastic return line with silicone tubing and wrapped the pump in silicone tubing as well. That took care of the vibration noise and the pump is very quiet now. All AC powered return pumps will be like this though so not a criticism of the equipment.All the additional components in the kit were a nice touch and a good value.You will probably want to add a heater and a stream/wave pump for additional water circulation.Also, I wanted to add that the unit came well packaged for shipping with no issues. In addition, Marine and Reef customer service was excellent and they were prompt and courteous on a few initial questions.Overall, I would rate this product a 4.5 (tilted this toward 5 stars on Amazon). A little disappointed in the noisy protein skimmer and flimsy filter rack but otherwise, everything has proven to be outstanding including Marine and Reef customer support.I bought this hoping to set it up right after it was delivered, but after i opened the packaging i saw that everything was not included( not a real big deal-footing pieces were missing)but if this thing is gonna cost this much- please make sure everything is included in pckaging-even the small things do matter. I am talking about the footing for stand that keep it off floor and keep it level!!! Not trying to be an ass or picky but again at this price small things do matter!!!!! if everything was included originally i would of gave 5 stars.I am still waiting on all my rock and sand to dry the rest of it up, but the delivery was on time without any issues. The extras you get are good quality as well for what they are. All of it together for cheaper than you can get the tank and stand alone from most places. I love the lights and timer too.Just what I needed for a good valueI loved the packaging. I was worried it would arrive broken. It arrived in perfect condition.The cabinet was very easy to assemble.What I did not like is there were no instructions on adding the heater, skimmer and return pump to the tank. I still don't know where I can add the skimmer.This came earlier than expected which is great! Easy to set up and put together , everything is pretty much set in the aquarium just add the water .. and rocks and after a period of settling add the fish , bought this for my husband for a birthday gift and he is really impressed.. would definitely recommendPerfectEasy setup complete system for a reef tank. Easy for anyone to use and have success.
