I’ve read this book no less than 20 times. It always makes me want to jump on a plane right away to go to Australia! It’s a beautiful story of a lonely woman, Alex, whom thinks she’s content until she meets Lee and falls in love. This subject of coming out, how and when, is central to this book. Though it was a much more difficult decision to make in the 90’s it’s still a relevant topic today. I love the characters and I understand Alex and of course the ending is so very sweet!
